Images from a long awaited trip to the middle of nowhere to photograph Refuge Cove. Our good friends Christine, Matt and their beautiful daughter Willa had recently rebuilt a generations old restaurant and gallery in this off-grid, boat-access-only community, turning it into a beacon at the gateway to the world renowned
Desolation Sound.

I’ve always been intensely drawn to the light and textures of the Sunshine Coast and Gulf Islands, and this project gave an excuse to explore that very deeply.
