With all of these real people stories, I spend some time finding common ground with my subjects, and I explore within that to build out a real, relatable, genuine story. Sometimes it’s just a fragment of an idea that we share, and sometimes it’s a huge piece of our perspective on work and life and the world. Telling Braden’s story was much more akin to the latter.

Braden tells us a story of searching for balance, meaning and sustainability within the creative industry, echoing many of the challenges and struggles that I, and most other creatives, have dealt with over the years.
