Gail’s story is a perfect example of a brand using real people storytelling to develop an emotional connection with their audience. Not your prototypical tax ad – TurboTax has used this series to prove that they believe in real Canadians, and have seen extremely strong performance in terms of brand recognition and watch-through rates, the highest of any of their campaigns.

CASE STUDY 2:
TIKTOK SMB CAMPAIGN

FOR TIKTOK USA

This campaign came to life as a response to the challenging political climate that TikTok has faced in the past few years. The brand wanted to build a library of work that told visual stories about a tiny fraction of the real people whose livelihoods have been built on, and depend on, the platform. I was fortunate to photograph this long stretch across the USA, and seen these images shown in Times Square, on the Vegas Strip, and in dozens of print, OOH and digital executions across North America.
