Richelle Trelenberg is a motorcycle mechanic based in Vancouver, BC. She runs her shop out of the back of a custom built van, serving all kinds of people in the motorcycle community. Richelle’s story and message can serve as an inspiration to anyone – everything you do, do it with kindness, and the world will return the favour.

Our crew was asked to capture a short film about Richelle’s life and business, as well as a library of lifestyle photography to be launched alongside the film. Liam Mullany and myself co-directed this piece, supported by a tremendous team of talented people.

This project was captured over 5 days in Vancouver. What was originally supposed to be filmed in early October got pushed to late November due to a very fun and exciting Covid experience for the team. If you’ve ever been to Vancouver in November, you probably understand the challenges of filming a motorcycle-focused piece during that time of year. Richelle and the crew were absolute troopers though and handled the cold and wet weather with grace. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this thing to life.
