Howdy, my name is Christian.
I'm a photographer, director, and maker based in the mountains near Vancouver BC. I use my work to tell stories, most often about real people. Sometimes those people are in a gritty workshop, sometimes on a mountain peak, and more often somewhere in between.
I’m deeply passionate about connecting with the people I photograph, and I think that allows me to find deeper meaning in the images I create. I’ve been told that you can feel that connection in my images, which is amazing to hear, because that’s what I most aspire to do with the things I make.
